Don’t Drink … Play!

If you like to have a beverage ever so often, keep your money at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your pocketbook, your money belt, and leave all money, plastic credit and chequebooks back at the hotel. Take whatever cash you intend to spend on beverages, tipping and only the pocket change you intend to squander and leave the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You might experience a win following a drunken evening out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to hit a marathon toss at a smokin craps table. Keep that adventure considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and gamble. The pair just don’t go well together.

Leaving your cash out of the casino might be a little drastic, but defensive actions for drastic actions is necessary. If you wager to profit, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you like to blow your assets without a worry, then consume all the complimentary beer you can handle, but don’t take charge cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your inebriated brain throws away everything!

Permit me to take this one step more. Don’t drink and then head on the internet to bet in your favorite internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the coziness of my house, but since I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and bet.

What’s the reason? Although I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I consume alcohol, it’s certainly sufficient to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I do not drink when betting. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager when you do. The two mix up for a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
