There is a captivating story to the Cambodia gambling dens that lie just over the dividing line from nearby Thailand, in which gambling den betting is not permitted. Eight casinos are situated in a relatively small space in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. This band of Cambodia casinos is in a prime area, a three to 4 hour drive from Bangkok and Macao, the two most popular wagering locations in Asia. The newest Holiday Palace Casino and Resort features 300 slot machines and 70 table games and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has one hundred and sixty six slot machines and 96 table games, including 87 punto banco (the most popular game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Additionally, there is the Casino Tropicana, with 135 one armed bandits and 66 of the common table games, as well as 1 table of Casino Stud Poker. Another one of the 8 casinos in Poipet, again in a motel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six one armed bandits and 97 games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in an all-around vacation and hotel compound that features a number of luxuries aside from the gambling hall, which has 10,000 sq.ft. of one hundred and thirty slots and eighty eight tables.
