Don’t Drink … Gamble!

If you like to have a beer every now and then, leave your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all money, credit cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Grab whatever cash you expect to use on beverages, tipping and whatever pocket change you anticipate to burn and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Just realistic. You could experience a profit following a inebriated evening out with your friends and be lucky sufficiently to hook a long toss at a on fire craps table. Keep that account because it is as brief as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and gamble. These activities simply don’t mix.
Keeping your money back at the hotel might be a bit excessive, but defensive measures for dramatic behavior is necessary. If you bet to win, then do not drink and play. If you can afford to blow your $$$$ without a concern, then consume all the gratuitous booze your stomach can handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and checks to throw into the mix of following losses after your inebriated brain throws away everything!
Let me to take this one step more. do not consume alcohol and then head on the web to gamble in your favorite online casino either. I love to beer from the coziness of my condo, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
How come? Even though I do not drink a lot, when I consume alcohol, it is clearly adequate to cloud my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t wager when you do. Both make for a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
