Learning From My Betting Blunders

First to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been wagering on the net or at land-based casinos for many years. I have discovered, the dependency can grab a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up until you are flat broke. Particularly if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless thousands of dollars in a very tiny amount of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go too far. It appears you are just having fun until you start to be aware of your loss and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It doesn’t works. Then you become sick in your gut and the harder you try the faster you lose.
When you see that you are up, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, do not say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, trust me, this logic RARELY ever operates. Say you’re playing on slots, have a bankroll set aside prior to starting your play. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how appealing. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate pot. Don’t risk your successes no matter what. Once you have played through your primary set limit, stop. Leave, regardless if it’s on the web or at a physical betting house, don’t stick around. Always remember, there will be another day, another time.
Remember, betting is supposed to be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot manage the cost, do not even begin.
